Norm Ludwin is a great friend and one of the top orchestrators working in L.A. as well as a symphonic and film scoring bass player. Mr. Ludwin’s main expertise is in helping composers and orchestrators learn how to make their music great. Norm has authored several books and is in demand world-wide as a teacher and guest lecturer. It is really fantastic that he is flying up from L.A. to share his insight with our Master Class attendees.
This special Master Class will require a fee of $50. The class will be 3-hours and include his book, Developing Variation (sells for $40 typically). All fees go to cover Norm’s costs and to cover providing the book to attendees. It would cost far more to fly down to L.A.
It will be all about how to develop your musical material. He will use examples from both concert scores as well as an emphasis on film score excerpts. Once you have paid to reserve a seat in the Master Class you will be given a link to download the book.
This is powerful info and a very clear and effective teacher. Anyone at any level can pick up vital insight and technique that will advance their music efforts. Plus it is summer at SkyMuse so it will be fun and in a beautiful setting.
